The Secret To Perfect Pedaling
Using the damper pedal (the far right pedal on acoustic and electronic pedals) is a wonderful effect for sustaining the sound of the piano. But it can be tricky to use it in a way that doesn't make the sound 'muddy' by mixing in unwanted chord or harmony changes.
There is a simple secret to fixing this problem: it has to do with the way you think about the timing and coordination of your hands and foot. This video lesson demonstrates how to apply that secret so that you can apply clean, perfect pedaling technique to all your music, no matter how often the harmonies change.
