Racing to JFK Airport
Getting an emergency passport in New York City. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/where-to-apply/passport-agencies/new-york.html The Manhattan passport agency is located at 376 Hudson St, New York, NY 10014 They open at 7:30 am, but I advise getting there by 6 am or earlier - the lines will be long! *Note* - the agency was great! I was able to get a brand new passport in 3 hours, but keep in mind that you have to show evidence that you have a flight booked. I also advise getting passport pictures taken ahead of time - there is a small shop down the street that will take pictures, but I think they open around 7:30am.

I’ve been invited to join a select group of Yamaha representatives to visit Yamaha headquarters in Japan! I’m getting ready to leave tomorrow, and trying to decide what camera gear to bring along and what to leave behind. I hate checking bags, so I try to limit myself to carry on luggage only. And of course, with the coronavirus concerns, I’m learning how to put on face masks.
Dwight’s passport disaster…Chad’s binary shower from hell…possessed alarm clocks and nonstop self-flushing toilets…I think our hotel was haunted! I hope these aren’t bad omens for our upcoming trip to Japan…
