Benjamin Harding on The Cunningham Piano Show
Benjamin Harding is the Dean of the School of Music at Cairn University in Langhorne Manor, Pennsylvania. Originally from Dipper Harbour in New Brunswick, Canada, he attended the Csehy Summer School of Music. as a teenager. There, he was inspired by the late pianist Samuel Hsu to discover the intersection between music and spirituality and how music helps us all recognize the nobility of all human beings created in the image of God. As Dean of the School of Music at Cairn, Benjamin is in a wonderful position to help inspire future generations of musicians discover their purpose in the world. For this episode, Benjamin performs "L'isle Joyeuse" by Claude Debussy, a multifaceted exploration of the sounds of joy. He performs on a Yamaha DC2X 5'8" Disklavier piano.
